Its remarkable alloy composition includes almost 15 percent vanadium, which produces an exceptionally high volume of vanadium carbides in its microstructure. The knives in this family are further distinguished by brown peel-ply-textured G10, fiberglass-reinforced co-polymer (FRCP), or fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) scales and Shawn Houston’s "Triple B" logo laser engraved on the reverse side of the blades.
